Home/Blog/Blog: recommended/A genuine feel-good anthem from Andy

posted on September 7, 2020

The energetic “Heat of it All” is a genuine feel-good anthem and the third single of Andy. This is the brainchild of Brisbane based multi-instrumentalist, Andrew Martin. His eclectic mix of catchy hooks, driving rhythms and textured layers amalgamate to produce music set for audiences worldwide. His musical talent was once discovered by James Morrison, who invited him to study at the MT Gabier Academy (which was founded by Morrison).  From then on Martin started to create music in his own perfect indie rock breakthrough style.

About “Heat of it all”:”Most of the songs I write come together in a matter of hours. “Heat of it All” was not one of those. I actually wrote the hook/chorus for this around three/ four years ago. I had been playing around with progressions and some of the verse lyrics. That is why I am so proud of this song. It shows how I have evolved as a songwriter of the last few years. If you want to dance, cry, laugh or hold somebody, this ones for you (so everyone!).” (full article here)
