For the people that are interested in film music, like our friend Sebastian Bach (-who played in the Francis Moon session and composes music for film-) there will be an amazing documentary coming out in theatres in the summer of 2017, and as digital release during fall.
The documentary we are having in mind is?… SCORE: A Film Music Documentary, an Epicleff Media production ( in association with Film Score LLC and with support from SoundBite Studios. (Epicleff Media, 2017).
The documentary will feature work of legendary figures such as Hank Zimmer, Trent Reznor, Quincy Jones, Howard Shore, Randy Newman and many, many more. The documentary is deliberately made to be insightful, to an extent that it will be used as educational material as well. That sounds very promising, doesn’t it?!
Music influencing the way we process the visual, is an amazing process. Producers, composers and the likes will go in depth here, on how they work and how they get inspired to write their music. This is a real gem for the music connaisseur.
