Who said an existential crisis can’t be fun? With catchy hooks, punky basslines and raw guitars, indie pop band Mood Bored makes nostalgic songs about finding your place in a world where everything seems to be screwed up. On December 7 we will welcome the band for a livestream with our Talent Recordings Series.
Mood Bored makes some serious stuff with a lot of fun. The 3 band members themselves experienced how the pandemic had a depressing effect on the indie music scene. Mood Bored wants to create a remedy for these dejected feelings with some bouncy sounds that bring back the joy of making music. Everything is presented to you with the necessary self-reflection and an ironic twist. The band released this year the tracks “Easy going” and “Pour into me”.
Why Mood Bored at the Talent Recordings?
The band has a refreshing take on living and trying to survive as an artist in this modern world. They combine this with an uplifting sound that we can use these gray days. No wonder their debut singles are critically acclaimed by the Dutch music media and they are one of the most requested bands at showcase festival Popronde.
We would like to thank Rabobank Rotterdam for the generous donation that made the recordings possible with Mood Bored and 4 other acts. Rabobank wants to support creative talent in The Netherlands and we are grateful they choose The Talent Recordings to do so.
