When bombs are dropped on girls’ schools as a distraction from the sexual crimes of an American president on an island for the filthy rich, a Dolle Mina fest is right on time. With punk band Dolly Min among the performers, Het Paard in The Hague celebrated International Women’s Day in style.
A party for women’s rights — how do you celebrate that in 2026? One thing’s for certain: it requires a lot of noise. That’s why Dolly Min is exactly the right band on the right time in the right place. For the Hague-based band, this is a home game. In their current lineup, the punk band is a bright new star on the firmament. Their debut EP Girls Bite Back has been enthusiastically received, and the band opened for Pussy Riot back in June of last year. We hope to see this energetic band at many festival stages this summer.
