Green Gardens are four friends who strive to bring inaccessible feelings into a shared band setting. Drawing from the deep wells of art rock and guitar music before them, they owe everything to the earth and their surroundings. Their gentle, ponderous energy invites listeners right into the recording process with a wide-open roomy sound contrasted with thick, heavy emotion.

Green Gardens’ debut album ‘This is not your fault’ is the result of years of collaboration together and was made with trusted friends and producers Jamie Lockhart (The Cribs, Mush) & Rob Slater (Yard Act, Crake) at Leeds’ prolific Greenmount Studios. Order ‘This is not your fault’ here

Acoustic enrichment from the deep

Humpback whales singing, sperm whales clicking, weddell seals courting, coral reefs spluttering, bucktoothed parrot fish crunching, an oyster toad fish grunting, shrimp snapping, long horned sculpins honking, blue whales lamenting and haddock drumming. The music from Cosmo Sheldrake’s upcoming EP “Wild Wet World” is composed entirely out of recordings of these animals and the sound worlds that they inhabit.
