Sincere punk: a term that first seems to be appropriate to describe Rats & Daggers. But then again: is there a thing as insincere punk? Punk has no filters, no comfortzone, no soft layer to land on. It can be just a lot of noise, it can be senseless. Useless maybe, from time to time. But it never will be insincere. Cause then it’s just not punk. Therefore Rats & Daggers don’t make punk music. They are punk in optima form.

No wonder, the band has already build up quite a reputation and a loyal fanbase. Rats & Daggers are selected for the line-up of Popronde 2022. And they are already contenders for the title “best booked bands” of this traveling festival.

TAXITAXI

Dutch punk that everyone understands: TAXITAXI

The lyrics of TAXITAXI’s songs stand out for their simplicity. Issues like an overzealous team leader, nobody caring about your high school diploma, or stepping out of the matrix as a true alpha male are translated in a universal message everybody understands.
