Sometimes the gray of the winter seems endless and everywhere. The entertainment industry tries to satisfy desire for the sensational with super acts that are just more of the same. This results in a soundscape with 50 shades of the same shitty grey. But there are always small hopeful sparkles between the new arrivals and this is one of them.

Daneshevskaya is the art name for Anna Beckerman, a 24 year old artist who has only recently decided to come out with her private musical productions. (full article in Conversations About Her)

In November 2019 Daneshevskaya released the well received track “Scrooge” and at January 31 was the release of the small EP “Bury Your Horses”.

Obscure Sound about “Scrooge”:

“Scrooge” is a beautiful track from Brooklyn-based artist Daneshevskaya. Touting a glistening folk-forward sound, Daneshevskaya’s endearing vocal presence plays with ethereal charm alongside the stirring acoustics and soft key-laden touches.
