Producing an album in a day? Nailed it! Bandcamp had planned a special sale at May first in 2020. At this day they waived Bandcamps revenues for 24 hours. To celebrate this event Berta Bigtoe decided to release an album. It had to be recorded and produced in 24 hours to make it at May first. Quite a challenge but the self proclaimed freak folk duo delivered. And they delivered pretty well with “Berta Bigtoe Publicity Stunt.”

About “Berta Bigtoe Publicity Stunt” in the music media: “The sweet, joyous indie pop on “Berta Bigtoe Publicity Stunt” feels effortless but clearly takes a lot of skill to pull off—especially in less than a day.” (full review here)

Berta Bigtoe brings folk with an ironic twist and we love it. We added “Hold The Fort” to our June’s Indie Pop Playlist
