“Distance” is the expression of a sense of melancholy and nostalgia when you lose someone you love, someone who’s so far away now. The album from Bl00dwave was recorded and released in 2016, but has now a re-release at label My Pet Flamingo. In a way it’s meta-nostalgia with some musical moments from the past created from musical times from another past.

The album in lighter moments draws inspiration from 80’s synth pop and combines it with electronic and experimental sounds influenced by Grimes, Hiroshi Yoshimura & more.
