Intense, raw with some trashy decadence: the music of St Tropez is difficult to define in a few words. The band is not new, their sound and name are.  Go Back to the Zoo was a  successful pop rock band when they decided it was time for something different. St Tropez became the new name, yachtpunk their new style.  Their first single was well received by serious music blogs like DIY and NME. This Friday you can see St Tropez live in Gigant at the ‘home’ stage of Frequenzy. And, also quite important, in march they will perform at SXSW,  world’s biggest showcase festival.
