Mazey Haze makes dreamy indie pop that recalls Beach Fossils, Alvvays, Tame Impala and Men I Trust. Reflective, insightful, often wistful and always blatantly honest – the songs of 21-year-old Nadine Appeldoorn come from deep within. Her debut EP “Always Dancing” was released last week and she has been added to the line-up from showcase festival Eurosonic/Noorderslag 2022.
She grew up with ABBA, Tears for Fears, Talk Talk, Fleetwood Mac and The Bee Gees and at the age of 16 started to experiment with genres, sounds and production. Mazey Haze combines these influences with songs that process and express her deepest and darkest feelings.
