Eggs on Mars are a Kansas City, MO trio whose music combines the unadorned instrumentation of classic garage rock with the catchy, wistful melodies of modern indie. October the 4th they released their album “It will be like it was.”

About one of their new songs “‘I Can’t Always Be the Sunshine”:

“It is a bright jangly garage-pop song about how it’s okay to not always be happy; it’s okay to be sad and to feel blue. You don’t always have to be everything to everybody and eventually things will turn back around.” (article here)
