Indie rock band Only Sun have been lying low during the pandemic. For the first time since 2016, they’ve stepped back and observed the strange contortions of music that they’ve carved out during their early twenties. It only took a nationwide lockdown for them to emerge from their blissfully unaware, freight train of musical creations and see the crowds of the most devoted and wackiest characters from all over the UK.

What’s more, they got some rest. The departure of long time guitarist Darragh McManus may have soured spirits for a minute, but there’s nothing more dangerous to the indie scene than the members of Only Sun on a good night’s rest.

Without their usual creative outlets the constant deluge of demos that ping around the band’s Whatsapp group has reached fever pitch; touching genres that just shouldn’t be allowed for a so-called “indie band”. 2021 YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Debut album “Tangled Mind” will be released April 23. Pre-order here.
