With this year of our lord Two-Thousand and Twenty now almost behind us, Shiva and the Hazards have returned with their latest offering, “Revolution Son.”
Produced by the band and mixed by Ride front-man, Mark Gardener, “Revolution Son” is the first taste from their debut album, expected in 2021, and their follow up from last year’s single, Angkor Wat.
That release coincided with back to back slots supporting British shoegaze legends Ride and fellow 90s hitmakers Cast, on what was the Melbourne band’s first major tour of Australia and New Zealand, playing in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland, as well as two massive homecoming shows at the Corner Hotel and a sold out show at the iconic Forum Theatre.
Produced by Matthew Redlich (Holy Holy, Husky), Angkor Wat has been described as “glorious” by Australian Music Network, as “an acid laced space traveller” by Happy Magazine, and would go onto receive world wide independent radio play.
