In “Memory Of My Feelings” is the result of a one-off collaboration between Catherine Anne Davies (The Anchoress) and Bernard Butler. The package contains ten brand new songs including the unearthly end-of-days address ‘The Breakdown’ and the triumphant four-to-the- floor excoriations of ‘Sabotage (Looks So Easy)’ , bonus tracks include a stunning pared-down reinterpretation of Madonna’s ‘Live To Tell’.

Recorded and mixed by Bernard Butler and mastered by Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios the package is completed by photography from Eva Vermandel whose work has featured at both the V&A and National Portrait Gallery. The combination from music and artwork is a beautiful thought out concept without overthinking it or losing emotive layering.

“In Memory Of My Feelings” will be out on October 16. Pre-Order here
